What is nukeSEO™ DH?

nukeSEO™ DH (dynamic HEAD tag generation) from http://nukeSEO.com is integrated into this release of RavenNuke™. nukeSEO™ DH generates HEAD tags, including title and META tags, based on the content being displayed. It enables site administrators to override the 3 HEAD tags that most significantly impact search engine rankings: the title, META description and META keywords tags. It requires nukeNAV™, a dynamic menu / navigation addon that supports a top menu, modules block replacement, and modal popups for user login, search, and nukeSEO™ DH overrides.

What happened to Dynamic Titles?

nukeSEO™ DH was heavily influenced by TegoNuke™ Dynamic Titles, which it replaces, and other important predecessors as described in What is nukeSEO™ DH and how does it work?. This article shows the differences between the two when generating titles. One notable difference: some of the content details that were included in the title tag are now included in the META description tag.

Where can I find out more about nukeSEO™ DH?

Additional information about nukeSEO™ DH is included in the nukeSEO™ DH User Guide.

What is nukeNAV™ and can I use it with my theme?

The nukeNAV(tm) Overview provides more information about nukeNAV™, including how to add nukeNAV™ to themes.

Can I turn off nukeNAV™?

If you wish to turn OFF the nukeNAV™ top menu (the nukeNAV™ modules block replacement is not impacted by this setting) in themes that support it, you may do so by a simple edit to the rnconfig.php script (self-explanatory).

Why doesn't the user login popup from the nukeNAV™ top menu?

NOTE: In order for the nukeNAV™ modal popup for user logins to work, the nukeNAV module must be active for all users. It is recommended that this module not be visible in the menu, but the nukeNAV™ top menu and modules block replacement will not display the nukeNAV™ module even if it is active for all visitors and set to display / visible in the module settings.
